Writing Systems of Pre-Colonial Africa.
Pre- Colonial Africa knew at least Seven (7)
different writing systems:
1. Arako Scriptures (the Yorubas)
2. Giscandi (in Kenya)
3. Nsibidi (in Nigeria)
4. Mende (in Sierra Leone)
5. Vai Scriptures
6. Loma
7. Bamum
And within each of these scriptures there are
magnificent books and writings, touching all the SCIENCES, POETRY, the ARTS etc
