Catholic King Louis XIV (the 14th)
of France established Black Codes:
These Black Codes, in which it is stipulated
that the conversion of Slaves into Roman Catholic Apostolic Religion- by force,
if necessary – is an obligation, it is an order, an imperative law, punishable
by the sanctions of the time, which could go as far as the death penalty.
