Africa needs to discipline its own leaders
Wole Sonyika: English
language Nigerian writer (1986 Nobel Prize Winner)
“Africa cannot allow another century to go
by, continuing to satisfy the west without managing to discipline its own
leaders. It cannot go through another century gently sliding from the KNOWN
TRUTH to a very ‘convenient reconciliation’, without self –examination in a
more rigorous way and to stand up more energetically against its ancient
colonial masters”
These ancient colonial masters were above
all, Missionaries, mostly Christian Catholics and Protestants.
