THE STORY OF USIR, ISIS AND HERU (PART 8- Set)

 

Set is Asar's (Usir/Osiris') brother who was jealous of his brother's position as King and was greedy to rule. 

So one day when nobody was around, he killed Asar and threw his body into the Nile river and his body parts floated away. 

Overcame by greed, hatred, and anger.

Aset and Nebthet through the help of the gods Anubis/Anpu/Apuat and Sebek searched for Asar's body throughout the world.

The body of Asar was found in Lebanon (Syria) formerly known as Byblos. 

He was brought back to Kemet/Kamit and Aset prayed over the body of Asar to wake up. Instead of Asar waking, Aset became pregnant and bore a son named Heru, with the help of Djehuti and Amun (the Soul of Ra).

When Set found out about Heru. He got angry and wanted him dead too.

When Aset heard this, she decided to take Heru to a safe place, away from Set, until Heru grows up.

Aset was helped to protect Heru by the scorpion goddess Selket and her seven (7) scorpion friends.
