The great
“Mossi” Black people of Africa
“When the first white
man appears in the land, the nation will die”- Ancient Mossi Prophecy.
The great
Black African Mossi nation of Mossiland (current Burkina Faso) rejected
Christianity and Islam as early as the 12th century. This nation of Black people has continued to
only accept and practice their Authentic African Spirituality and not allowed
themselves to be conquered and converted into religion by any invading forces.
The Mossi
held on steadfastly to their own African spirituality and African institutions
and they survived for over 500 years, right through into the 20th
century.
The Mossi
Kingdom was made up of five (5) Core Kingdoms:
·
Wagadugu
·
Fara
Gurma
·
Yatenga
·
Mamprussi
·
Dagomba
All African
states that rejected white man’s theories began to develop again after the
great depression, rebuilding and expanding. These states were prospering and
advancing, for as long as they did not allow any European or Asian invaders
infiltrating their communities.
This nation
prophesized that the nation would die, once a white man appeared in their land.
Both Christianity and Islam were always regarded as vehicles of conquest over Africa.
